It’s been 8 days now with lightning free.

It’s been 8 days now with lightning free. Running Elegance apk. In the mean time my phone crashed 3 times due to low memory. ( I think because my sd card is almost full and 196mb free internal a.t.m 🙂 I am on HTC Sensation so I do not have a lot apps installed now) But what I am trying to say is when phone or LL is out of memory it also resets the unleash Lightning period back to 7 days. Just for your information. Pierre Hébert

I bougt LLX a long, long time ago.

I bougt LLX a long, long time ago. Now installed on an “old” Samsung Galaxy S2 mobil phone with Pacman KitKat 4.4.4 rom.

I don’t know anything of scripting, but this Launcher is even without scripts absolutely fabulous.

With the latest beta of LLX my “old” S2 runs…. runs….. and runs. No crashes or reboots anymore. I have a launcher exactly how i wants it to look.

I just wanted to say that.

Thanks Pierre.

It has potential but it is frustrating.

It has potential but it is frustrating. I suppose it is because of coming from more traditional launchers. I still can get panels to work neat. Things shift around all the time. The videos at the site are some versions behind the current one, so, does anybody have a more updated tutorial elsewhere?. On the bright side no lagging

Pierre Hébert Every time I fire the script running intent from my app, lightning launcher is opened.

Pierre Hébert Every time I fire the script running intent from my app, lightning launcher is opened. I know it is because of INTENT.ACTION_VIEW. Is there a way yet to just run the script and not open lightning launcher?

Guys need some help.

Guys need some help.

In my app I have written the code below from Lukas Morawietz to call and pass a data to LL script:

Intent i = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);

i.setClassName(“net.pierrox.lightning_launcher_extreme”,”net.pierrox.lightning_launcher.activities.Dashboard”);

i.addFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_NEW_TASK);

i.putExtra(“a”,35);

i.putExtra(“d”,id-of-script + “/” + optional-data-string);

startActivity(i);

But I have no idea where to give what. I tried giving the script name in “id-of-script” but doesn’t work.

If name should not be given, then where to get the script id? and the data to be passed? A little help is appreciated.

Just noticed that total Launcher just updated from beta a while ago.

Just noticed that total Launcher just updated from beta a while ago. It’s not bad and probably the only one even remotely close to lightning, and does flirt windows over other apps but not efficiently, but if you are using this as your main launcher right now just make sure you get $7 when you updated or you will lose some of your pictures lol. Look at that double the price less than half as capable as this app. I was just a little surprised by the price, which to me honestly seven dollars is nothing at all, personally I think it’s worth it. But I also think lightning is worth ten times what it costs, honestly why people raise so much hell about paying only a few dollars for a lot of work just blows my mind and I’m a poor kid lol. I’m just saying to most people $7 is going to seem a little steep, anyway lol
