(This seems like a bug, but it is a feature suggestion)
The ‘bounding box’ of a container is not recalculated when moving items from script.
If you move an item from script ‘outside’ of the available pages, you won’t be able to scroll to it until the launcher refresh (open another app, then go back to the launcher). This is more noticeable if you have the ‘fit desktop to items’ active.
This means that the ‘computation’ of the available screen is made from time to time, I guess when the container loads, when you exit edit mode… But not when moving items from script.
Will be possible to add a container.refresh() or similar to manually force this calculation? Is it too cheap to do it every time an item moves (I guess not)?
Or
Is it possible with something currently available?
I found that calling {LL.save();container.getProperties().edit().commit(); } works. But it takes almost a second to refresh the container. ( [!] Something to note: if you don’t call LL.save() before the commit() all the container returns to the previous state. I guess this is the reported and known issue of deleted items that appears again and related)
Second suggestion:
Could be possible to set ‘borders’ in the calculation of the bounding box when the ‘fit desktop to items’ is checked? I mean to add an offset so that you can always scroll a little more than the last item.
I’m suggesting this mainly because I have transparent nav bar, and the items scroll under it. But now the last item is always under the bar, so I can’t click it. I need to manually add an item at the bottom to force it to scroll a bit more.
I know I can automate this from an script, adding automatically an invisible item accordingly. But it seems like a ‘bad’ solution in my opinion. A built in feature will be better.
]]>Hi!
Thanks for the connection.. I have a few questions related to the lockscreen. I took a short watch through the search-results I got but didn’t find answers, so here my questions:
1. Is it possible to hide the statusbar totally in the Lockscreen?
I can hide it, but with a swipe down from the top it opens itself and I also can start apps through it. But I want to be fully locked if the lock is activated.
2. How can I prevent the pie-chart from LMT Launcher to work on the lockscreen?
I use Android with the pie-chart from LMT Launcher. I would like to disable them on the Lockscreen. It is possible in the LMT Launcher settings to disable it for chosen apps, but as the lockscreen is just a plugin it doesn’t work. I have to disable it for the whole LL, but then it doesn’t work on the Home-Desktop too and also not in the settings, so this is no option for me. My hardware buttons are broken, so I have to use Softbuttons. I can also start apps through the pie-chart, so I can start apps without unlocking LL.
3. When I set statusbar to hidden on the lockscreen but leave it visible at the home-desktop I have problems with the layout when unlocking. After unlocking my home-desktop has a warped layout ’cause it’s generated without the statusbar but has the statusbar overlayed. It changes when I open a app and go back to the home-desktop, but immediatly after unlocking the layout is wrong. The Screen is scaled to the resolution without the statusbar.
Is it possible to prevent that?Â
PS: I have a Galaxy Note 3, rooted, but with stock ROM on 4.4.3 using the recent version of LLX.
And I haven’t worked with scripts yet and have no clue, how to write one.Â
]]>Focus goes out of view
I finally have installed a Android-TV-box and (ofcourse) had to install LLX on it. It works lika a charm. And navigation with standard IR-remote work perfectly with the ‘focus-styling’.
But I would expect comming to the last row on my screen and pushing the ‘down’-button on my IR-remote, that the next row would come into view on my screen…
It does not. –> Focus goes out of view.
I think I could make a script to make it work. But I think this should be working without a script.
PS. Yes, Droidmote works better/easier than IR-remote. But has the same issue.

My 1st Ever Script 🙂 I feel like a Genius Lol
How it works: run it from a shortcut,
What it does: You type something in the box tap save and its gets written to a text file on your Internal Storage and any other notes you write will then get appended to that file.
To Do
# Add Text Color Options Somehow.
# Check If Text Is Longer than a certain number of characters before allowing the save button to work, to avoid blank notes being made.
#Make The View Note button open The Note File directly, or make A custom view to display them or whatevers easier for me to do.
Thanks to Lutz Linke For recommending a kick ass Code Editor
Lukas Morawietz For His Animations Script and Multi Tool Script which I referred to a lot while writing this.
TrianguloY For His Case Change Script which inspired me to try writing my own script.
Pierre Hébert For Lightning Launcher, Scripting and His Sample Code Showing how to use the Android Framework through Script.
And anybody who trys running this. If you want to improve it / finish it off feel free but it would be great if you could add some noob proof comments in your code so I can learn from it cheers.

Im working on my 1st script and finding it pretty difficult using the built in editor.
What Editors are you guys using, I would prefer something with syntax highlighting because like I said ima noob and syntax highlighting will make it way easier for me. Hopefully
]]>I remember bringing this up before but that was on position changed.
setting the stage : im trying to get the fade bookmark so when I swipe it fades to the saved point. so what I did was I set the tap to do nothing and the swipe to the fade bookmark script.
problem is instead of going to the saved spot it saves the new spot.
TO REPLICATE : place a shortcut to a llx action (run script) and choose the fade bookmark
long press the shortcut
change the actions (event tab)
set tap to do nothing and set swipe (i choose left) to the script instead)
now instead of tapping the shortcut I should be swiping (should now tell me to scroll to the spot I want saved but instead it tries to save the position).
how do I get this to work on a swipe action, not tap?
