It’s there any way to set a gesture off the edge of the screen to display a sidebar or folder from any screen (not just the home screen) even when other apps are open? Basically trying to create a hidden shortcut for a list of apps without having to hit the home button first. There is no gesture that assigned “from left edge” for example…. Thanks

Is there a way to automatically (randomly) change the wallpaper from an online source or from a collection of wallpapers on the phone? I searched the community but couldn’t find anything.. Nothing in scripts either….This is perhaps the only feature I miss from some of the other (otherwise inferior) launchers. Thanks!

Due to temporary incompatibility between my rom and LLX, I was forced to use other launchers for about a week. I remembered that years ago, when I first switched to LLX, it was the most feature rich launcher around. I figured by now, things must have changed. The soaring popularity of certain other launchers must mean that they too offer some amazing customizations, and I must admit, I figured they must do so in a much simpler way, thus the popularity.

BOY, WAS I WRONG!!!

NONE of the most popular launchers come even close! They are really very boring after LLX, and I am more convinced now than ever, that hands down, this is the best launcher by many miles! I could not wait to get back!

So great job +Pierre Hébert and keep it up! Thanks to you and all the moderators for your time here!

Hello!

Hello! I’ve been using this launcher for years, and loving it! I am putting this in the bug report, b/c I have isolated my phone not booting up to Lightning Launcher and can reproduce the problem. I am using ResurrectionRemix ROM on my OnePlusOne. The latest Marshmallow nightly. It is buttery smooth, no issues at all. After the latest update, phone kept getting stuck at boot logo. I spent 3 days going crazy trying to figure what could be wrong. I had completely wiped phone, and reinstalled a hundred times. Every single time, the phone would work just fine, until I restored my apps and settings and then I could not reboot back into phone. After many many process of elimination, I restored everything EXCEPT LL. Phone rebooted fine and worked smoothly, no issues at all. The ONLY thing I did after that is install LL and made it my default launcher. That’s it. I have not even restored my backup and when I tried to reboot the phone, I could not. I repeated this few more times, and always and only did I run into this issue after LL was installed. What could be wrong??? At the moment, I cannot use LL at all. Please advise. Thank you!

How does one do a complete restore?

How does one do a complete restore? I did a backup as well as template export, then tried both the restore (backup) and import (template ) but neither restored widgets properly. Even after granting permission, I had to reset all widgets, even size related settings that ate 100% LL settings.

Sometimes I can’t launch apps from folders. Other times (which I don’t have in the video) the folder opens blank or with some apps missing, then when I close and open folder again its fine… Odd

Icons in folders are randomly rearranging themselves. If I close and reopen the folder one or twice, it goes back to normal again. Any thoughts? This setup was a restore from another phone. Thanks

Like many of you, I use LLX in conjunction with Zooper Widgets Pro.

Like many of you, I use LLX in conjunction with Zooper Widgets Pro. However, I am seriously considering getting rid of all my zooper widgets. The reason, every time I have to do a clean install, I have to set do a lot of tweaking to set everything back up the way it was.

I had asked in the zooper community/forum, but I didn’t get any smarter. So I thought I’d ask here since many use ZWP. HOW DO YOU RESTORE YOUR ZOOPER SETUP???? I backup and restore both my LLX and zooper settings. When I restore my LLX backup, it places zooper widget holders back in place, and it asks for permission to create the widget. I grant it, and check “always” allow, but the next widget’s place holder still asks, so I gotta go one by one and “allow” it. Then, I still have to edit the zooper widget, again, one by one and restore the saved widget, which BTW, does NOT restore the action on touch. I have recreate those again as well. Its a lot of freakin’ tweaking!!!! What am I doing wrong? Is there a better way I’m missing?? Thanks!
