]]>Stop points, H Tuttle
First pic is my home screen.
(Pic 2) I swipe to the right, to slide out my folder buttons (LLX, TOOLS PHOTO) They stop just before the center.
(Pic 3) edit mode, shows where my stop points are located.
The center Stop Point stops scrolling (with snapping on) when stowing the folder buttons (scrolling to left).
The SP on the upper left limits how far the buttons slide in from left to right. If I wanted the buttons to stop in the dead center, I would move that SP a little further to the LEFT. If I wanted those buttons all the way on the right edge, I would move that left SP way to the LEFT.
The folder buttons stop exactly where they are, when swiping them out, because each one opens a side-bar type folder from the left that exactly fills that space.
Hope this helps. Very simple setup, but maybe similar in some ways to yours.
]]>These are not bugs! Just bad behavior.
1. Scrollable folders still do not open to home position.
2. I have not isolated this one and I have seen one other report of this problem. Waiting on his reply to find out if he is in a similar area.
Launcher constantly restarts, or might just close and leave me at the android recents list.
If app is open, app just dumps back to launcher, which appears fresh and not as it was left (re: panel positions, open folders, etc)
Details:
Got a new phone week before last and did a fresh install of latest beta (now on 12.6b2).
I immediately left for a week in the mountains, in an area where signal was weak to non-existent, AND on a state line that is also time zone line (us, eastern and central) AND when there WAS a weak signal, it would jump from roaming to home network constantly. Also this would change the time on my Moto 360 watch, I finally realized!
This behavior has appeared to stop since my little holiday has ended, and I’m thinking this is related to the new feature of launcher restart on time change.
This made using my device for non-cell data related things (my only option in that situation) extremely frustrating, whether I was just lying in bed making a new home screen setup, or designing a new smart watch face, listening to locally stored music, or especially driving around the area with nav on.
I realize this may be a rare situation, but I think the auto restart thing is not a good solution.
I wish I had thought of this while I was there, so I could have isolated the problem. Hell, maybe it was unrelated, but that’s all I’ve been able to come up with.
Comments?
]]>Not sure if this is a bug report, but at least unexpected action.
On every container is the “home” icon.
I would expect that to be the first screen.
On my various panels and folders available from my home page, this is not the case.
Upon restart, all containers originate at the top-most, or left-most icon.
In my folders and panels I have stuff to both sides of the “home” page so I should be able to scroll either way from the home position.
No matter what I do, these containers never originate at the home page, after reboot or launcher restart.
Anyone else?

Wow!
Made a new setup to really try out the work flow with the new editing tools.
I love it!
… And just realized that portrait lock isn’t working. :-)
Edit:
Ok well I guess it’s working now.
When I checked it was set for portrait lock. Switched back to sensor. That was fine. Went back to portrait lock and seems to work now. I’ll keep an eye on it anyway.

This would be extremely convenient when an item is hard to access directly.
Always wondered why it wasn’t included.
]]>Also crash report incoming.
When trying to make bookmark with custom icon totally transparent, LL crashes.
Anyone duplicate this?
]]>Problem editing current folder window.
Folder background is transparent, this is fine.
While editing, I enabled 1px white border so I could see the bounds.
When finished, I selected borders in Box settings and made width to 0.
Top and left borders did not go away.
Had to resellect and make transparent, even though width remained 0.
]]>An annoyance:
Customize stop points
When you select an option, it scrolls back to the top, forcing you to scroll back down to finish deselecting direction, edge, etc.
