On every container is the “home” icon.
I would expect that to be the first screen.
On my various panels and folders available from my home page, this is not the case.
Upon restart, all containers originate at the top-most, or left-most icon.
In my folders and panels I have stuff to both sides of the “home” page so I should be able to scroll either way from the home position.
No matter what I do, these containers never originate at the home page, after reboot or launcher restart.
Anyone else?

This is intended for folders where the app app attempt to display the whole content, regardless of where the origin is. This is more natural from the user point of view (at least I think).
This shouldn’t be the case for panels though, I am not sure of what happens here. I don’t remember having implemented a specific behavior here, I will check this.

Ok. This has bothered me for awhile. I think this is not natural and feels broken. It’s as if the home position is meaningless.
Actually, I guess that’s the case.

I can easily disable this behavior for folders. I believe it may cause issues with some existing setups but this is not something that cannot be fixed. If really it is needed the old behavior could be reestablished too.
Regarding panels however I am stuck 🙁 Is there anything special on your panels that could push me on the right direction?

If not, a setting in the folder settings screen to enable/disable the ‘auto center’ feature (enabled by default)

Pierre Hébert, disregard panels.
I was just digging around and experimenting…
The ones I thought I had as panels were indeed folders.
My panels only have one page.
I apologize for that.
Thank you, and TrianguloY suggestion of a setting would be fine. Which way is default makes no difference to me.
