LL crash when refreshing the app drawer (or when unistalling app, but I guess the refresh caused by the app removal to be the cause of the Uninstall crash)

New update completely messed up my set-up.

New update completely messed up my set-up.

I had script changing the position of some panel. Now they all change the position of the main desktop instead.

I had script on slide left ad right to move the desktop to a fixed position, it no longer works either.

I can’t access a lot of my set-up due to that.

I use a Nexus 6P without Android Nougat since the OTA update is not yet released.

Strange new issue.

Strange new issue. I don’t know exactly when it started, but my Gmail unread count do not update anymore (only update upon starting the phone).

I’d say the issue is about 1 or 2 weeks old.

I am using a Nexus 6P, no root with latest update 6.0.1

On my Nexus 6P.

On my Nexus 6P. I have an issue with Gmail dynamics texts. LL do not recognize my Gmail labels and crashes LL. (although I don’t get the crash report log message to send one.)

Edit: solved. LL didn’t ask me for authorization to access mail account information so the authorization was locked. I granted it in Android settings and everything is back to normal.

Hello

Hello,

Not sure this is a LL issue/change but since I am using LL and LL lockscreen, this seems the best place to ask. I have recently done the Android 5.0 update, and LL works fine. But I have noticed a major change in behaviour (not sur if LL or Google). Before 5.0 when locking phone while on an app, I would get back to the app when unlocking. With 5.0 as I unlock the phone I am systematically back to desktop.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening and get back to the previous behaviour.

I have a crash with the 2 last updates.

I have a crash with the 2 last updates.

On my setup, I have a panel that allow me to slide from one widget to another. When changing this panel position there is a script that change position of some other panel.

Since the last two update changing position on this panel (slide or shortcuts) generate a crash. on the other hand, the script works correctly for the initial screen (I have a shortcut to the different position, If I use the one for the initial position, it correctly reset position of other panel and no crash). So the crash only occur when the position is modified and not only when the script is triggered.

All other script and panels works correctly.

I have a folder (and only one) whose background color was change through the update. And I can’t modify it, LL crashes whenever I change layout of a folder and the colour is reset although other option change remains after the crash.

With all the discussion on LLx icons, and especially what is LLx, I was wondering about the name.

With all the discussion on LLx icons, and especially what is LLx, I was wondering about the name. And especially the “extreme” part.

Lightning Launcher “Extreme” made sense at the time where there was 2 version of this launcher. The free LL and the paid LLx.

But now that Pierre took the free version out and only LLx Remain. I feel like the extreme is not required anymore. Worst, in my opinion, whenever It might even give a wrong signal. Not to say that LL is not a fantastic or extreme tool. But extreme is a very strong word, that only takes its meaning by comparison (extreme means there is something between the extreme). Being a mild nature, I tend to doubt most “extreme” names seeing it as a marketing tool aimed at teen.

So I’d think going back to the more simple LL (which is in itself a great name) might be a good idea.

That’s just food for thought… I am not asking for a name change, just that I don’t see the justificaiton for extreme anymore.

The new update just exploded my setup.

The new update just exploded my setup.

I got multiple bug:

— LLx now appear in the multitasker (althoigh killing it doesn’t change anything)

— Long press on desktop (to display lightning launcher menu) crash LL

— Press on menu button display an empty red bar (LLx menu can no longer be reached) and then LLx generate error message

*****title: “builtin-2”

*****description: At line 5: ReferenceError:

***                       “GlobalConfig” is not defined.

***                      (builtin-2#5) — I had a folder button which triggered a script to change a panel position. This button is no longer doing any thing (although the other script apparently haven’t change and works properly)

— addendum: script editor crash LLx

As a result I can’t get access to my folders anymore (in the panel that cannot be accessed) and cannot modify my desktop as I can’t display LLx menus nor edit script.

Configuration:

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (not rooted)

Android version 4.4.2

I can’t extract a new template as I can’t access to LLx menu anymore (but If you can use the previous template from last time, it hasn’t change: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hg15hl46hygr9zj/crash%2017-12-2014?dl=0)

Small template regression on new version (fine on beta, but should be fixed on stable):

My template is displaying the status bar without overlaping. Upon applying the new version, the overlap option was selected again, messing up a bit the template design.

It is an easy manual operation, but it could be a bother on a stable version.
