Chris Chastain lol. Wow this guy, for someone like Pierre Hébert to devote as much free time to give us such an awesome app and he wants to bitch about the quantity of free templates… Give me a break. I would pay a monthly subscription to keep this app if I had to its that damn good, you know.

And I agree with the paid themes because people also need to get paid for their work, I was just mentioning that most of the themes/templates available on the playstore are paid themes…
In my opinion to get more people using your product / service, etc etc you must give something to them before they can give you something… That’s why there is a free version of LL and a paid version…
And free templates are a good way to attract more people into this launcher because using zooper widget, tasker and other apps to make a good theme isn’t very easy and takes time and skills to do it…
Anyways, sorry if I offended someone with my “complains” about free templates…
You should be able to do most (if not all) you need using only the launcher.
I don’t like Zooper personally.
Just dive in. You’ll be able to make a sweet setup without using a pre-made template.
Chris Chastain I’m using zooper and creating widgets from scratch, no pre-made templates here, I like to put my personal touch in everything I do.

Yeah I use to to be a zooper guru till I discovered lightning… Needless to say zooper is nonexistent now;) boy sure freed up a lot of ram and saved a lot of battery too. Zooper=slow
Brandon Cannady answer me this, I’ve been playing with zooper for a while and already made some cool stuff with it, such as a music widget, 7 day forecast and a cool clock…

Hyu Bssassa for that kind of stuff move on over to Kustom my friend, that’s where it’s at now… Animations, much lower battery consumption, and much faster refresh rates. It blows zooper out in my honest opinion.

Brandon Cannady Gonna give it a try, zooper isn’t a problem actually but the integration with Music Utilities makes everything laggy… Thanks for the advice.

Hyu Bssassa oh yea, music integration is light years ahead in Kustom I assure you, I hated media utilities, garbage.
Look that’s really the beauty of lightning though MULTIPLE DESKTOPS I have a couple of setups heavy on all the cool lightning shit like panels/scripts, nice sidebars and such… then a couple of setups heavy on the Kustom goodness. Kustom +Lightning = a customizers dream. I just like the sure flexibility lightning has to offer, you really can’t beat that.
