On my current setup I am using a panel within a panel within a panel but when I go to edit my desktop the editor keeps opening my panel setting instead of desktop settings.
Edit- I found the issue is with my new Samsung Galaxy S6. It doesn’t have a default menu button like my previous Galaxy S4, where I can access the desktop editor using the menu button.
Any S6 users experiencing the same problem?
One way around it was to change the home button to the menu button, not an option I prefer.

Do you mean the off screen light-up button to the left of the home button? The one that opens the app switcher? Long pressing on that should bring up the menu for the desktop.
You can always customize the behavior of those buttons in the LL events and actions settings if you don’t like the current setup.
You can also navigate to the settings of any item from any other item by using the `items` option in the menu.

James Coyle Long press brings up the split window feature S6 has. I haven’t found a way to change it through events and actions in LLX or Samsung settings yet.

Sergio Azar Long pressing the back button does that for me on Note 4. If you go to Lightning Settings > General > Events and Actions you should be able to rebind them.

James Coyle thanks for your suggestions. I bound it to the home button, that works fine for now.
