Yes, and not with a script! Long press your desktop/ add item/ shortcut/ lightning action/ open a folder/ select the desired folder

I think he wants to take the folder itself outta the drawer and dump it on his desktop. not open it from the desktop.

    Ren Shore is right.

There is no way to mix desktop folders and app drawer folders, otherwise you could remove icons from app drawer or add widgets in app drawer. Technically this is not a big issue, but functionally the app drawer is not a desktop.

Linking with a “open folder” action is the only way to open a app drawer folder from elsewhere.

Zsolt Golenya: I’ve started with a folder and filled this folder with themed folders for office, tools, …

the first folder has it’s custom icon and it’s dedicated name

then I deleted all other items on my screen and exported this with a backup and much more important as a template

now when I change my setup I have to recall this template and then I can use the merge option when loading another one…

Pierre Hébert I think there is need to somehow be able to export folders out of the drawer.  Not the apps, just at least the shortcuts to recall those apps.  Let me give you one (I think) good reason for this:

We often have well over a hundred apps in our app drawer.  My drawer gives me the ability to organize this nicely into folders.  I find it best to do this in the “my drawer” as opposed to some desktop b/c all the apps are there and can more quickly and easily see through the whole process. Here is the problem:

Backup DOES backup and restore the folders in my drawer, but DOES NOT restore zooper widgets totally (only placement).

Export DEOS NOT restore my drawer folders, but DOES restore zooper widgets perfectly and completely.

So if I want BOTH restoring “my drawer” folders AND restoring all my zooper widgets, I have to restore a backup first, then import my template in merge (so I don’t loose the my drawer folders) then delete the desktop that “came in” during the backup/restore.  Too many steps.  Is there a way to streamline this?

Since I arleady have those folders setup in my drawer, my only workaround would be to somehoe move them out of the drawer and onto a desktop, then everything would be exported and restored with the export template process.
