should already be enabled long press desktop press + pinch in to zoom out you will see.millions of rectangles there all pages and the page with the house icon is your main page place an an item above or below this page and you can scroll up/down
Lightning has multiple desktops each with an infinite amount of pages and by default a 2 finger swipe left/right will change between desktops.
Jay M I came across an old comment you made to the exact ? . I went into settimgs/desktop/ wallpaper and enabled scrolling also in desktop/scroll and enabled vertical. Problem is it does scroll vertical but I have to swipe like a million times to get my 2nd page of my klwp preset to show, why is this? I only have 2 vertical pages in klwp.
Is there a way to only have 2 vertical screens with lightning? That’s it.
yeah all you have to do is have an item on both pages like this whst you see here will allow scrolling vertically if you dont want the item/s visible turn off the icon and label and use a blank item.

btw it sounds like you have decelerate scrolling enabled

Alright I have been able to get it to scroll but it will only do it on pinch/spread. I do not have that enabled. I have 2 rectangles , one on each page. If I pinch the 2nd rectangle will show up(holding it’s size and shape). I have no idea what is going on but I would love to get this working if you could help
Only works in what I would call edit mode, hence the orange statusbar?

your in edit mode when you see the million white rectangles the statusbars orange but it can be any color you want it to be. Can you screen record? if so show me whats happening
in edit mode if you pinch to zoom and go to far out double tapping will zoom you back to the default level
Jay M then I would say it’s working fine now, swipe is smooth one finger up/down. How can I change the statusbar color
long press desktop or shory press your phones menu button then press settings/desktop/system bars.

probably everything except stop points ive been using lightning for years and still havent sussed them out. Btw you might wanna join the private community it has more to it than the public 1.

I’m new here and to LL. It appears that it is very powerful and will do much more than I’d ever spend the time to figure out. My primary purpose for trying it was my search for vertical scrolling apps from sidebars….. So far, there’s been much wheel spinning on my part. Not quite getting it yet. Is there a tutorial that can help?

after reading that again i know what you mean.
It’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it. My preset is coming along nicely, vertical scrolling is working great.

Man, you made that look so easy. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, but, i think even I can follow those instructions.

i tried holding stuff for a bit so you could see the touch highlight better incase it wasnt clear what i was tapping on, the decelerate scrolling is optional btw i just dont like it so i turned it off.
So I managed to get it to work following your great instructions. Now that I have it in place, I can’t figure out how to add or remove additional apps/widgets. I think I’m still in edit mode, as the upper bar is still orange, but, not getting the prompt to add items. I also can’t figure out how to change the clock to 12 hr. Even the properties when i long click on it, doesn’t provide me the change. There’s quite a bit to this launcher and even more to learn………
the statusbar being orange doesnt matter you will know if your in edit mode or not because you will see the toolbars on the bottom and right side of the screen or an arrow ⇖ which when pressed shows/hides the toolbars. To add items you can either drag them over the folder/sidebar and wait for the animation to finish or open the sidebar/folder long press an item in it then press the pencil icon to go into edit mode. This will let you edit the contents of the folder/sidebar at that point just long press the screen and choose app it will take you to the app drawer long press the first app you want and it turns on multiselect just tap all the other apps you want so there marked with a tick and then press the + in tje top right corner to add the apps.
