is scrolling through a scrollable widget a bit laggy and unresponsive, i have scrollable widgets inside a panel and on the desktop and scrolling through both them feels laggy and unreponsive. Just want to ask if i’m missing something in the setting to solve this? thanks

I have three scrollable widgets in a panel inside another panel in the desktop, and they work fine.

my widgets are scrollable news widget on the desktop, and a scrollable APW messaging and APW people widget inside a panel. i’ll try to explore more on the settings to fix this. but i think maybe that the feature of desktop and panels to be scrollable in all direction is interfering with the horizontal scroll of the widget? i’ll try a widget inside a folder and report
scrollable widget inside a folder works fine, they scroll smoothly. i tried APW people widget inside a folder. then i added a panel in that folder then added a an APW messaging widgets inside that panel both scroll smoothly. interesting
i think i solved my problem i created a new desktop and everything works fine in that new desktop. i don’t know what i did in my other desktop to make scrollable widget laggy
Maybe you had old data left somewhere, from old widgets or similar.
Something I sometimes do is to make a backup, delete all data, restore the backup. Perhaps it does nothing, but I think it helps a bit sometimes.

I don’t know whether this was the case but two things can slow down the scrolling a lot (depending on device and android version): rotated item and transparency.
