Hi
I’m having a bug with Floating Desktop.
On my floating desktop I have a icon, for which I set an action to jump to another desktop on tap.
However when I tap this icon, after I open the floating desktop, nothing happens.
If I set the action of this icon to, for example, open another app, it works fine.
If I manually go to the floating desktop and tap this icon, it also works file, i.e. jumps to the other desktop as required.
Only when I actually use the floating desktop, over another desktop, the shortcut doesn’t work.
Thanks,
Maxim.
]]>I am trying to write a script that will change the background color of a folder when it opens.
I am trying to write a script that will change the background color of a folder when it opens. I tried to change the “bgColor” property of the container, but that seemed to do nothing. (I committed the property edit and then got the property again to confirm it changed and it did, but the folder looked the same.)… I want to change the content and padding color like you can do on this screen of the folder properties. Is there a way?
]]>I’m still a scripting novice with LL, so forgive me for the following question which probably has a simple answer.
I’m missing a basic feature in LL: When I add or remove an item from a folder, I want the folder to automatically rearrange its contents in alphabetical order.
It’s trivial to fetch the container holding the items in the folder, but what then?
I can’t find a built-in sort method, so do I need to write my own? If so, what do I do with my sorted array of items once I have it? How do I assign that back to the container?
I’m probably overthinking this. Maybe there’s a built-in method after all.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

]]>Hello
Hello,
On my emulator (Genymotion with KK 4.4.4) I made the following setup:
– Audio Glow LWP for system wallpaper
– Fully opaque image for desktop wallpaper, and set its color to 0x01000000
Picture shows how it looks like, and I’m totally satisfied with it.
But unfortunately, on my real device (KK 4.4.4), Audio Glow isn’t visible unless I remove desktop’s wallpaper.
I do all the same, but it looks like on my real device system and desktop wallpapers won’t combine, while in emulator, it works perfectly fine.
Any suggestions please?
]]>I have a question about the syntax used in bindings.
I read the wiki but am still a bit confused. I am trying to use bindings to set the color of various text items etc and have them all change at once by changing the variable. First i use the set variable action to name a variable fgc, for example, and set the value to ffdab779 for the color I want the items to be. Then I select the item in question and on the binding tab under text and normal color I put in $fgc for the value which I thought would then change the color.
I think I just don’t understand the syntax can you help with this. Also as a side note I tried a couple of time and it now lists fgc as a variable how do I clear it out if I no longer want it as a variable.
Any help would be appreciated.

I also noticed that Lightning resets to default when a backup restore fails – that is not really good behaviour…
