How can I set a Lightning Launcher variable using tasker?

How can I set a Lightning Launcher variable using tasker?

On the LL website I found this.

“When adding an action in Tasker, select Plugin, then select Lightning Variable.”

But I could see only Lightning Launcher Action and Lightning Launcher Script in the tasker options when I click Plugin.

Basically I’m trying to set one tasker variable with whatsapp unread count. Then I’ll assign it to the LL variable and set up a badge or dynamic text to show this LL variable.

I just started using Lightning for a lock screen.

I just started using Lightning for a lock screen. I’ve used it before, but it has been a while. Question though. If I have an application up (eg. Chrome), then turn off my screen, wait a few seconds, turn on my screen, then unlock with LL, the previously active app (Chrome) goes away, and the LL home screen is active. With a normal lock screen, the previous app is still active. Did something change with LL, or has it always been this way? Any way I can prevent LL from keeping focus?

Hello

Hello,

since I updated to a LP rom I discovered the new icon effect material ripple in LL.

But even when I set it to overlap the item boundaries still a rectangle semitransparent item background is visible on interaction.

Is there a possibility to remove this so only the ripple effect is visible?

Hi All, I have an issue with klwp wallpapers.

Hi All, I have an issue with klwp wallpapers. I set up a live wallpaper made with klwp and after some power on randomly the wallpaper disappears and I get only a black background. The same happens if I make the setting from klwp or from LL. Anybody else has this?

Help request with scripting to change the background color of an item (named background). When I run this nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

LL.getCurrentDesktop().getItemByName(‘background’).getProperties().edit().getBox(“i.box”).setColor(“c”,”nsf”,0xFFE91E63);

LL.getCurrentDesktop().getItemByName(‘background’).getProperties().edit().commit();

I can’t find the options to bring to front / send to back etc, when overlaying icons. They used to be there, I think, on the position menu. Can anyone tell me how to access them now ? Thanks, Nigel
