How can I set a Lightning Launcher variable using tasker?

How can I set a Lightning Launcher variable using tasker?

On the LL website I found this.

“When adding an action in Tasker, select Plugin, then select Lightning Variable.”

But I could see only Lightning Launcher Action and Lightning Launcher Script in the tasker options when I click Plugin.

Basically I’m trying to set one tasker variable with whatsapp unread count. Then I’ll assign it to the LL variable and set up a badge or dynamic text to show this LL variable.

In tasker action, I’m seeing 3 options for lightning launcher plugin – LL Action, LL Script and LL Variable.

Which version of llx are you using? I think the LL Variable was introduced from LLX V12.5b1 beta onwards (alongwith bindings). Earlier tasker variables could be used only through scripts, as far as I know….
