Kann man hier bitte in englisch schreiben.
Kann man hier bitte in englisch schreiben.
Englisch ist auch nicht meine Muttersprache und eher beschränkt als perfekt, aber es ist deutlich besser als mein französisch, spanisch oder andere ….
Danke.
Is it possible to write here in english?
English is not my native language and more limited than perfect, but through out better than my French, Spanish or others ….
Thank you.

Why do you ask if this is possible? Warum?

I guess it’s because the last two/three messages were written in French.

Curtis i don’t mean if it’s allowed.

I think a good solution would be if those who want to write in their native language would also write in English, as you did.
And please don’t use Google translate!

Lukas Morawietz i think that if google translateis the only way for them to translate to english then they should use it

Curtis Sylvester Jr. No, if someone really is not able to write in English he should write in his native language.
Then I can use GTranslate to translate it to German, which I would understand better than English…

yes you just said they should write in english too and yes i think they should use google translate that way we dont have to

From my position it’s easier to understand a “bad” english than other languages. I don’t want to use a translationprogramm first to read posts. In this case i will not read them.

Pozostaje jeszcze kwestia zaufania, że jeśli napisałem coś w rodzimym języku, będzie to zgodne z tym co napisałem po angielsku. Taki mały sprawdzian ile osób to przeczyta.
I would love to be in the world where everyone understand each other, but we can’t force others to write in other languages, only because we don’t understand them. Of course there are exceptions.

As long as English language is not stated as the only accepted language. One should be allowed to write in any language…

Dawid Życiński i agree with you. It was just a suggestion. I don’t want to force someone to do. But it would be much easier when most of the conversation would be one language. E. G. In my case i use all my apps in english because it is most used language in this tech. part.

From time to time it might be easier for some people to do so. I think this is ok as long as this doesn’t become the rule.
Edit: maybe also posts in a language that people don’t understand will receive a lot less attention, and as a consequence cannot become the rule.

I thought this gonna happen… I’ve a bad english level, and for my first french post, I really didn’t know how to say it in english, and I know that Google Traduction is sooooo bad 🙂

Benoît de Chezelles your english is not that bad. Just use english if possible in the future. If not, I think most of the people here won’t read it, but as pierre said if it’s necessary for you, use your native language.
BTW: GTranslate is really good with translating single words. Just not with sentences.
