Hi!

Hi! Trying to learn how to use Lightning. For some reason, I am unable to expand the notification tray with gestures. Is this a known condition? I am on Lollipop, Galaxy Note 4. Thanks!

12 Commentsto Hi!

  1. It seems some Lollipop limitation..tried even with tasker, no success. Any ideas? Thanks!

  2. I’m on 5.1.1 and all is working right.

Probably your ROM cause this, I don’t know…

  3. Do you think so? Strange, because on Nova it works…

  4. Although only on Nova beta

  5. Ok, now it is clear! Thanks for the information! Any plans to add it? Regards!

  6. Samsung.

This manufacturer has specific platform modifications for which usual tricks don’t work and this issue will remain at least as long as I don’t have a samsung device to play with.

  7. Pierre Hébert a bit of a harsh response, don’t you think, coming from a developer of a paid, and not so cheap app? I bought the app yesterday, didn’t find a trial version, found something that is not working on my first day of use, took the time to come here and ask for guidance, this is not the kind of answer I expected. No problem. I can return to Nova. They solved it. Thanks, see you.

  8. No problem. Nova is great. I am just fed up with Samsung and their numerous differences with stock android. Even heavily modified Android such as CM don’t behave this way. So yes, I can’t stand anymore Samsung. Too many people think that developers have an army of electronic gadgets to test their apps. The reality is that this isn’t the case at all. Those nice little devices have a price which is much closer to $600 than $3. So I don’t know what you mean by “not so cheap”, because I wonder what you can get for $3. By the way on these $3 a developer will only earn an average of $1. So to buy only one device, an app needs to have a lot of users, believe me!

Maybe you expected an answer such as “No problem, I will fix it”, but unfortunately the answer is “I can’t”, sorry.

  9. Look, man, I don’t want to create any troubles. Maybe I was harsh also. You seem to be angry with Samsung, ok, but I am only a user. Respect for your work, it seems great. Thank you anyway.

  10. Wow!!! I’ve had lightning so long I don’t remember what I payed for it, but I would pay much more than $3 for such a versatile launcher “if I had to.” A $3 price is a steal.

  11. Brandon Cannady you are absolutely right. My bad. Pierre Hébert, please accept my apologies.

  12. Emiliano Patarra no problem, really. Thank you for your understanding.
