Hey everyone!

Hey everyone!

I am curious if there is a way to change the gray square behind a folder or remove it.

Also, is there a folder use the icon of the top left most item inside of it as it’s own and update if changed?

Thanks,

Jacob

Im not sure what that gray box your taking about is, but the traditional workaround for your dynamic icon request is using Tasker + Zooper widget as the trigger for your folder. Then simply make the folder transparent and unlclickable if necessary to lay widget on top

Though you could probably use JavaScript now that LLX is unreasonably awesome lol

Do you mean to make the folder background transparent so there is no grey behind it? If so, then folder settings, current folder window.go to the box and press and hold the centre for a while.now change the colour of “normal” to transparent.

I mean the folder icon. You can choose grid and stack or custom. Grid and stack have a Gray black box as a background but I can’t figure out how to remove it.

I’m not sure how to make it dynamic to which item is first inside of the folder with Tasker and zooper, but I also don’t want that many zooper widgets. Any other ideas?

I what your talking about now, I’m not sure what your objective is but you cannot remove the background if stack or grid is selected, however you can put an over lay on top of it to cover it? The alternative is… Just selecting no icon lol

What your asking for is technically doable using the LL script engine to retrieve a list of items (app) within the folder class on some triggered event, then you’d swap for example the icon property of the folder with the nth value in your array.. or something lol still not sure how your list works . Im sure someone here has done something similar the long way through tasker/zooper
