Cameron Brown with 4.4 when in edit mode is th page size still defined as being from th top of th nav bar to th bottom of th status bar or is th entire screen now th page size?

Ar man I would love a n5 but the only thing putting me off is the navbar I don’t get why they put them on a touchscreen device. It makes the screen smaller and it gets in the way when playing games. Google did a great job with the design of Jellybean (its pretty much perfect) but whoever came up with the navbar must of been smoking crack because its one of the stupidest ideas ever IMO. I bet about 70% of nexus users root there device just to get rid of the bar and use pie instead. Rant over lol

Klyntone Bourserk I cannot answer for sure since I didn’t updated my sdk yet (and tested with the emulator) but I would think that this will not change. The page size should not include the navbar, and only the status bar if not hidden

Klyntone Bourserk when using LL its top of nav bar to the top of the status bar. When using the experience launcher (or whatever you wanna call it) its very very cramped due to massive icons and a persistent search bar you can’t turn off despite being a right swipe away from Google now.
Edit: just wanted to mention that while the page size in edit layout mode may include the status bar, you still cannot put items behind the status bar.

cheers guys, after posting i got to thinking, so i hid status bar and installed ultimate navbar to get rid of navbar, running full screen is quite an experiance, while running like this page size in edit mode is full screen.

Klyntone Bourserk try LMT launcher and you can experience PIE navigation without needing to switch to a custom ROM with it.
