    edit mode, on panel long tap/customize panel content/items/box/ select borders/ and change colors – but this is not function. On screen is panel border still white.

    Well, it’s supposed to, anyway.


    That function seems fine on 9.0 b4.


    Your second way is the way to change panel properties. First way sets properties of items within the panel.


    The only thing I can think of why it doesn’t work for your icons is border must be set to a non-zero size. Also, margins don’t have color possible.
