That is not so much a dislike, as it is a matter of weighing up whether or not it is worth the effort vs the convenience of folders.

Or possibly –
long press on the app drawer (or folder, or desktop) > customise > sort,
Which then gives you a list of sort-by options including ‘folders first’, ‘folders last’ and ‘folders included’
