Is it possible to have a scrolling dock like Nova and just added to Action Launcher? Can you place folders in the dock?

So with 3 panels with say 5 apps or folders each I can then scroll between panels?
Yes you can scroll in a panel. A panel is basically like a full desktop but in a smaller size, inside another desktop (or could even be inside another panel)
FSRBIKER aka Todd Frank to make thing clear, you only need one panel. Danbar Danbar and Benoît de Chezelles are correct.
A pinned panel is typically a dock bar. To make it scroll move the icons in it outside of the visible area. It can scroll horizontally, but vertically too. You can put anything you like in a panel, but keep in mind that nesting several panels will lead to some complexity (but that’s understandable after all!)
I thought I did it correctly but the panel scrolls with the desktop instead of by itself.
FSRBIKER aka Todd Frank you have to long press the desktop and enter edit mode, single press the dock, then in the item properties, pin its position on the desktop.
