Restored from my own export earlier and was getting the same widget error even though I had everything installed. I thought it was because I hadn’t made an apk. Now, I just restored to my previous setup after installing yours and got the error as well.
GNote #1 on Rootbox 4.2.2. Yes I get a warning about resolution etc, and yes I ticked the box to apply widgets data etc. I’m also at 320dpi. I’m not too worried about this, every phone is different and mine may be the oddball here. I’m curious if anyone else can recreate this with another model.
Hum… This should work then, especially if you have the dialog 🙁 It worked fine on my device. I will try to get my hands on other devices but at the moment I don’t know what could be wrong
Pierre Hébert Chris sledge This theme finally worked. I uninstalled and re-installed, cleared cache/dav and tried again. I knew it was something wacky on my end. When in doubt un-re-install/reboot/clear 🙂
BTW thanks for pointing me to APW, haven’t tried it before now and it is pretty cool. Can you get a feed for G+ with that widget? Of course I’m asking before I look myself 😛

Yes, widgets/apps are installed and fails on my phone when I apply my own backups and templates.

Hamza Khan I made this one using a Nexus 7 (2nd gen). It has a 1080×1920 screen. This may explain the problem. Do you have a screenshot ?
