Script:

Hide a folder’s label in the app drawer/home screen, but when the folder is selected/ expanded, show the label as it usually appears at the top of the folder.

Is this script doable? If so, some pointers on how to get started would be appreciated.

Thank you

With: “at the top of the folder” you mean the item’s label above the icon or the container’s label above it? You can show/hide the label of a folder as an item, and show/hide the label of the folder as a panel independently.

    I see.

I found the Display title option, which can hide the label of the panel but show the label of the folder item. I was looking for something which would do the opposite. Sorry but I can’t find this option?

To show/hide the label of an item (a folder or shortcut) long tap the item, edit, properties, ‘display label’.

To show/hide the title of a folder as panel, long tap, settings, current folder window, display title.
