Not dumb at all – I’m using the Xposed Lockscreen module for the blur effect on lock and wasn’t sure it would work with a pattern lock myself until I tried it. Both Xposed Lockscreen and the Expanded Widgets option in GravityBox work with pins/patterns/passwords. When you click the lock icon the widget minimizes so you can enter your pin. I actually hardly ever see the lock screen. I has a Tasker profile set up that disables the pattern lock when I’m connected to work/home wifi. It only comes on when I’m off those two networks.

Jason Rayner Thanks! I’m not even showing how the app categories work. When you click those the blue rectangle at the bottom changes [via Pop Up Widget] to show you the 5 apps for that category.

Dino L No problem and thank you! You will need to be rooted for Xposed Framework just so you know.

Make sure to read up on that – GB may not work with certain manufacturer roms/custom roms. I’m on stock 4.4.2 – I’m not sure how it will work with anything not stock. There should be some other alternatives to GB available if it won’t work with whatever you’re running.

Well the soft focus is done with Xposed Lockcreen Wallpaper [use custom image and pick the same wallpaper to add blur] so you can get that without GB. The expanded widget options should be under Lockscreen settings and it’ll be something like maximize or expand widgets if Wanam has it.

Pasquale J. Festa I have been doing some reading on tasker pop up and all the possibilities of task, action, profile etc… Just reading it all makes my brain hurt.

Jason Rayner A good resource is the Profile wiki. It has some walkthroughs for simple to more complex tasks. The only one I use is the one to turn on/off Pattern Lock based on my wifi connection.
