I have a problem with two zooper widgets not showing up.

I have a problem with two zooper widgets not showing up. Every so often I’ll go to my home screen and just see my wall paper where the widget should be. Once I drag my finger over the area it should be it appears and seems to work fine. I am not sure if lightning or zooper or it is the problem, so I’m asking both communities. Anyone else see something similar or know how to correct it.

Scott Adkins my suggestion is to use KWGT in place of your zooper widgets. I’ve had better luck and less battery drain switching over. It’s worth testing out!

Scott Adkins i have the same issue. Mine mostly decide to disappear during the animations I have assigned to them. They also take ages to load on phone startup. The startup issue I noticed can be corrected, by restarting LLX after the phone has booted and your homescreen is loaded and all the zooper widgets are displaying “Loading…”

Chase Huggins thanks for this info. I’ll give it a shot too.

Rudolph van Coppenhagen I definitely see that behavior but mine is also after the phone is fully loaded. After turning on the screen from being in my pocket it is blank not the loading indication you are talking about. Chase Huggins I’ll take a look at KWGT. Though the thought is scary. It took me forever to figure out and program my current widgets I don’t look forward to learning a new system.

Scott Adkins I may have time today to help setup your widgets to match zooper. I would just need a screenshot and an email address to send you the files. After that you could reverse engineer them to understand KWGT better.

Chase Huggins Wow. No kidding thanks for the offer. I attached a pic below and I’ll tell you the functionality. When the alarm is pressed it opens the art alarm dialog. The weather icon opens my weather app. The date opens the add event dialog. The battery status open battery settings. Pressing on the agenda opens the calendar app. My main customization is in the agenda. Show today, tomorrow, or date as appropriate. Color indicates which calendar the item comes from, mine or someone else in the family. Only shows date for first event of that day. And the current day’s events along with other items on the other widgets are a certain color and the rest are a different color, both of which I set through a tasker script I found. I’m sure I could figure it out but I’m no programmer and I got this from basically doing what you said and reverse engineering other widgets. I lost my back up once and had to recreate them on a new phone and it took me two, grumpy weeks the whole time feeling like my phone was broken, lol.

Scott Adkins I’ll take this as far as I can today. I’ll try and match the fonts as close as possible.

Scott Adkins I’ll need your email to send it to. Also, you’ll need to place the widget then make margins -35 on all sides in LL.
