I am completely new to this, and have been digging around for a few weeks now, but how do you create those lovely panels/folders that glide out from the sides of the screen and contain your stuff… I have searched the web and watched all of the tutorial vids, plus read all the sites… I have loaded Tasker and Zooper and followed and have loaded a good few templates… But now I want to create my own and this is the bit I don’t know… I have loads of ideas and want to put them into practice… After this I know i will have to start learning script, so if you can point me in The right direction for that too would be great… Xxx

Easiest way: Add >> Sidebar 😀

This will add a folder configured the way you want. You need to edit if you want the sidebar-folder to appear at different position.

Yeah this is one of the more complicated launchers, but the endless possibilities is what keeps me hanging on. I haven’t even scratched the surface of it, I mean bindings, scripts, custom views, floating desktops, multiple desktops ,animation and Tasker integration, it’s a person almost too much! It’s a steep learning curve.

What Lukas said… You can make it slide in any direction, depending on how you orient it, so it looks like it slides in.

Another way is to put your content on a neighboring page and pin everything on the home page, so that when you scroll, it slides in over the home page stuff. Requires using stop points.

This way is more responsive than using folders.

Steep learning curve..? You guys weren’t wrong…

After pulling apart some of your apks ( quite a few of Chris Chastain) and putting them back together again (reminded me of lego builds), I have managed to work out quite a lot. I can move and set panels. Work stop points and set quite a good basic desktop.

My question now is, where is a good start point online to read and learn about JavaScript..???
