i disagree its annoying i love the color but it does clash with most setups i think it should be transparent by default well half transparent anyway.

i use it but i tweak it a bit to look like the menus from earlier Android versions. This http://www.androidhive.info/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/final_output_menus.png

I wanted to delete it entirely as it’s sliding panel, but looks like it is LL system one and only options is to customize it or just forget, changing the gesture

Jay M , sorry, I didn’t explain clearly. I know what is it, it activates on swipe up by default, and I can switch off a gesture and forget about it, kinda… But I will remember that it’s somewhere.

this confuses me if you map the gesture to something else eg. unset the user menu is then disabled theres no kinda about it i dont know why you would need to delete it entirely just replacing it or disabling it should be more than good enough.

Although this menu will be recreated the next time it needs to be displayed there’s a way to delete it for good, but I nevertheless suggest to leave it as is.

Pierre Hébert Thanks for LL as it is. Oh I see, being forgotten the panels just some bytes on the drive, not in memory, right?

I considered to make it what supposed to be – the user menu. One with secondary apps that I use in my life time. So every page could be as clean as possible, with no need to search for it in app drawer (but that’s good that we still can)

    Yes, exactly.

Basically this menu is a normal folder (with two exceptions: it has a known and reserved id, the folder item is container inside its associated container). So you can do whatever you wish with it.
