Hey guys, kinda new to LL, was wondering if it would be possible to use a script to switch between different desktops I’d use for a lock screen. Can it be done?

I’m interested too. I was trying to find this out a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t get a good answer.

You can use a third party App like Automagic Premium or Tasker to start the LightningLauncher Shortcut -> next/previous Desktop, or go directly to a Desktop of your choice. For example. I have a desktop, private for use at home. And a desktop, outside, for other places. The trigger is, if the ssid of my router is in range, my desktop switch to the private layout. If the ssid of my router is out of range, the desktop layout “outside” will be activated.

I always use E Robot (with Elixir 2 a killer combo) to automate everything. All the abilities of tasker plus many more without all the plugins and so much easier. Way more reliable and all features are free with an option to remove an ad banner (god bless xposed lol). I even use it to run multiple lightning actions inside the app at one time. Conditions and variables are so much easier too. The UI could use improvement but still worth it. It’s the only one you can actually trigger of an app or group of apps actual foreground /background state and actually force stop them with root.

Ok, so you can use e-robot to change the desktops and everything is fine. 😉
