This may be a stupid question but I have a Note 3 with AMOLED screen which unlike backlit LCD screens is most battery efficient with black pixels. Is there a simple way I can get a black background theme with LLX?

2 Options come to mind.
A. Custom ROM CyanogenMod with a blacked out theme.
B.Use the dark theme its not black but it ain’t white either.
Change the actionbar background to black (drawable) make your own menu that has a black background you can do this with a folder, use the no wallpaper option if you have it if not use a black wallpaper.
Gera Ambros What happens when you try to install it?

I remember that Android 2.x dark theme was praised for being friendly with amoled screen at the time of the Nexus One.
I suspect this is more a marketing thing however, and I am not sure you will see a great difference though, considering all the other apps that use a lighter theme. I believe that if you lower just a bit the overall screen brightness you’ll save more.
