An easy way to draw them is to make a UCCW widget 1×1 and save to image. From there you will need a program like 9patch editor to apply the stretch area and save that info in the file. I use zooper and Photoshop to draw mine as well. Photoshop is easy and beautiful. Zooper is probably the most bass-ackwards way of drawing, but I love doodling with it. LLx saves all your widgets, icons, icon backgrounds etc, as pngs. You access them @ data/data/net.pierrox.lightning_launcher_extreme/files/pages/*enter page # here*/icon. Just copy the item/s you want, and rename it with “.png”. This is a quick way to grab a render of a zooper widget, or some other widget.
Nick Chitale check my post in tutorials about 9 patch. Easiest to find in the public Lightning Launcher Users community. It’s here too, so maybe you can find it.
Nick Chitale no problem! It’s actually fun and becomes quite addictive. In fact, I’m doing it right now! I think I will try to find Chris Chastain’s tutorial an read it. I’m always up for seeing other people’s methods, tips, and tricks. Chris, you should add your info to the tutorials wiki. I’ve thought about trying to fill in some of the missing sections that are within the realm of my knowledge. I just need to find the time! Haha
