It’s difficult to find the root cause of random background crashes, maybe something related to your configuration?
Do you have a complex setup? Scripts?
From your screenshots I guess you are using android 7, or 6. I have it too and from time to time, when the launcher is in foreground, android kills it (why is still a mystery to me). Perhaps on your device the launcher crashes when doing so?
I’ll call Pierre Hébert in case he wants a backup to test or a logcat. I can’t help more, sorry.
Fortunately it doesn’t crash the same way for everyone 😉
Unfortunately I can’t do anything without a logcat.
However background crashes always look suspicious because the app is paused when it is in the background. If it’s not, then there either a script in cause, or an issue linked with the system, or a widget. If a script could be in the loop, you may try to disable scripts in general settings.

Does it happen when doing something in particular or just ‘randomly’.
Also, does it happen only when you are on the desktop or also when using other apps?

While this app is great it crashes way too often. Usually end up going back to Nova or Action.

Update, I removed klwp and now the app doesn’t crash any more, I think I’d is the combination with LL that doesn’t work
