Trying out LL Extreme for the 1st time.

Trying out LL Extreme for the 1st time. So far I like it and really like the customization of it.  I have been trying out some of the themes/backups that others have posted and they load just fine other than the resolution of the phone usually has some differences. I have saved my own setup as a backup multiple times and every time I restore it I have to go back and reload each Zooper widget. Not sure why since the downloaded backups seem to load zooper widgets with no issues at all.

I looked in my backup and widget data folder is empty. Should it be?

Backup (for whatever reason) does not store widgets’ data. Export as template, that should work, it includes everything.

Pierre Hébert Could you please explain the difference? Why dudes backup contain less than exported template?

Because widgets cannot be restored on more devices than the ones on which it is possible.

When restoring a backup, most of the time widgets are not deleted and hence not restoring widgets is paradoxically the best way to keep them. Also only UCCW and Zooper widgets data can be retrieved, not data from other widget provider.

On the opposite, a template will always be loaded in a situation where widgets have to be reloaded.
