I know you can set different walls for each desktop.. Settings, current desktop, wallpapers, these desktop wallpapers.. You will probably have to change the position setting to make it fit right. the other way you’re asking I’m not sure of but it sounds like a really cool idea and I know it could be done with scripting anything can

Corey Spell I was confused between desktop and pages. What I meant was, different wallpaper on each page of the desktop

Vamsi Tummala okay I see what you’re saying, the only way I can think of would be too set up the page completely done and stretch in icon to the full size of the page, then his position and move it back all the way below all the other items. You could also stretched a panel to the full size of the page and pretty much have all the exact same settings and features of the current desktop and a few more extra capabilities. That’s what I do

O did you change the post or am I going crazy? Lol tasker could definitely do it also but that’s a little beyond my capability right there

Corey Spell  Hehe just edited to change Desktop to each page. Using an icon / panel is an interesting way. But, would definitely like to summon the tasker gods to help me on this.

Vamsi Tummala there are all kinds of wild interesting things you can do with this launcher. I’m pretty good at coming up with shit that other people don’t think of or even try to begin with because it looks ridiculous and impractical to begin with, but a lot of time trying out and digging into the stuff that don’t make no sense at first can come up with some interesting results. have you ever used E robot? It does pretty much everything Tasker does without all the plugins and easier. are you very well comfortable with tasker? Some of it just doesn’t seem to work out good for me

Corey Spell I’m kinda comfortable with tasker. Never used E Robot, since I have put down some substantial amount of money for tasker and some plugins for it will stick to it.

I was just curious, if you get a tester test running that properly I damn sure would like to try it out myself lol

Put a full screen, non-scrollable panel on each page and pick whatever image you want for it’s background.

I would suggest to not use a panel but instead a item, in the background, because a panel sets up an extra container and needs more disk space.

Tasker has definetly nothing to do with that and (probably) won’t help here.

Item works ok too… Has the limit on item image size been lifted? Seems like it has.

… And yes, ram usage is something to be aware of when using (multiple) images.

I think there is a setting for the maximum image size

I’ve seen people changing colors in zooper widgets and all kinds of different ways so I’m sure it’s possible but for me not worth all the stuff you have to go through just to change some wallpapers…. Lukas Morawietz I have been extremely curious about that, it made sense to me to think that a panel would use more space, but you are talking about storage right? does a panel consume more resources RAM and CPU that is, then a another item like icons and stuff like that? I would think it would because its got its on structure like a full lunch or something would. I’ve been really curious about a bunch of this stuff because I’ve been seeing lightning using tons of RAM was literally hardly anything on the screen at all sometimes and sometimes it’s very low, highest I’ve seen around 150 megabytes lowest around 50

Meh… Just checked it out. Item and panel both look like shit. Doesn’t render image at high enough res for wallpaper type use.

It looks bad when setting the image from the lightning UI

But from script it is displayed at full resolution

    LL.getEvent().getItem().setBoxBackground(LL.pickImage(0),”n”)

Yep unfortunately it doesn’t look as good on a panel or icon, etc…luckily I’m not into flashy or detailed walls with a ton of colors but understandably most want high res

There is multipicture live wallpaper but it’s probably just by desktop too. I don’t know if it’s possible to do it by page, but you can do a lot with javascript. I’m not that compatible with javascript so I don’t know.
