I tell ya, LL is well above my head. The single greatest thing for me is the ability to have both vertical and horizontal pages.

Question : is there a way to have pages without app, icon, etc.?

Question : is there a way to have an app drawer style from another template?

In app drawer Menu/settings/load a style there’s quite a few presets to choose from (expert mode might need to be enabled). I dunno about using a style from a template but I’m guessing it’s possible because we can save/load our own styles. I think it just depends if the style was exported with the template.
