Perhaps you could explain what it does that you want.

It just lists all the installed apps and has a alphabet strip on the side. I suggested it ages ago.

In addition, when touching/holding the alphabetical strip a thumb toggle appears to quickly scroll the entire contents of the list quickly . It is a nice feature to have available of it can be managed.

Yep. It’s much easier (for me) to find things when they’re on one strip on the side like that. Also, the swype gesture to pull it out becomes second nature once you’re used to it.

I’m not sure how action launcher works but I use Glovebox as a sidebar. It is very customizable. I also use Appsi as an alternate sidebar for just an alphabetical list of my apps with a search bar at the top

Some genius could always script it.

Try Appsi sidebar. It has the sidebar app drawer you want in addition to a list of plugins like contacts & call log. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsimobile.appsi. I used it years ago but I haven’t used it for a while so I don’t know how good it still is.

There’s also a script to put a full appdrawer in a panel. If you modified it & put it on a floating desktop you might be able to mimic it. It’s pretty laggy in my experience though. Glovebox is good too but it’s like the ubuntu phone sidebar. It’s not a full app list.
