How would I go about closing a floating desktop via shortcut or a button on the floating desktop? I don’t want to use the swipe to open/close for a specific floating desktop.
Also is it possible to hide the status bar for a floating desktop?

You can think at the status bar as being part of the application behind the floating desktop. This is inexact, but this is a bit the idea. As a consequence the floating desktop doesn’t manipulate the status bar (nor the navigation bar).
