Can anyone help me? I keep getting paddings on my widgets… the “customize option ->more ” tells me that the area of paddings in all 4 directions are 0…. can anyone tell me what I’m missing?

Some (most of all) widgets add their own padding, and LL has nothing to do with this.
The only ‘fix’ you can use is detach the item and manually set it a bit bigger.

Yes, but this option is nothing more than a crude hack. Android is enforcing a padding (depends on Android version), and this padding is inside the widget. Removing it means to alter the widget content. That’s a bit too much for me (personal taste 😉 ).
One thing that can be done to crop any object is to move it inside a panel, and resize the panel to your liking.
