I have been playing with LL for a few days, but I can’t seem to figure out how to zoom like in this template. Is he using bookmarks to jump to another area or using folders? It looks amazing.

Yet it’s amazing! Karsten is using a combination of desktop bookmarks (which includes the scale) and some scripting to change some other items scale upon finger move. I can’t say for sure, but he probably uses the position change event.

If you look at the script repository, you will find some similar examples. The Animations scripts from Lukas Morawietz will give you a very good starting point.

Best part is that he did all this without Zooper or Popup widget.

Sean Wang thx. Pierre Hébert is correct. I am using the position change event of the desktop to scale and move panels. And I am setting the desktop position/scale (which are the mentioned bookmarks when zooming into folders).

And leaving out third party was part of the game. As easy as possible. Thx to the powerful scripting feature.

Zooper is only used for the wheather forecast seen in the video.

Finally getting the hang of it. This template is probably not a very good first template to learn from since it’s fairly complicated with pinned panels and lots of scripts. I’m still going to Nova and jumping into Lightning when I can to play with the template.

All easy looking things are more complicated than expected ;-).

You are right. This template shouldnt be your first one to learn basics. If at all.

Still it shows what can be done.

And I split up things to not have only one single unreadable mega script.

Let me know when you need further help.
