No, unfortunatelly. To be honest, I had downloaded illegally to check it out before buying (back in 2015). Nowadays you can check it out for a while and refund it if you don’t like it!
As an app, trust me that it is totally worth the money though

KLWP is easier, by nature, in my opinion, BUT, even as a user who totally does not understand Javascript coding, I have chosen to stay with Lightning Launcher, and have no interest in KLWP, any more. I do use KWGT, sometimes, but almost always put widgets inside folders in Lightning Launcher, keeping a nice, clean desktop.
KLWP and Lightning Launcher can be used together, even, if desired.

Klwp + Lightning launcher is the perfect combination for me. You can get all the features of klwp then add all the possibilities from coding in LL. It’s just great!
