Are there resources online somewhere as to how to make a lock screen? I can’t seem to find a way to make it more secure than a simple swipe. Is there any way to set a pattern or a pin?

Lightnings lockscreen wasnt designed for security it was designed to be customizable.
Anyways check the wiki I think there’s a script for a pattern lock and if you search this community there’s also a windows phone style lockscreen and iPhone style lockscreen. If you want security stick to the System lockscreen or use it with Lightnings lockscreen.

I currently use the system lock screen, but I dislike the clock widget, and I can neither change it nor add to it. I’ve never tried using a script before. Perhaps now is the time. Thanks!

Its easy there should be instructions with them make sure you allow lightning to run scripts its under the General category in Lightning settings IIRC and expert mode might need to be enabled.

Issue here is the first boot is not secure. Lockscreen not called first.

Bruno-Isa LAMOUR-ARNOULD still the status bar, power dialogs and any popup applications will not be hidden behind the LL lockscreen. These are the major issues with it.

Even if you hide the status bar, you can drag it down. In other lockscreen apps you can disable status bar completely.
Pop ups like Facebook messenger bubbles, textra SMS pop ups, etc.
In other specialized lockscreen apps, only lockscreen can be on the top of every other overlay. This is not possible with LL lockscreen yet.
