Using folders is the best way to categorise the apps and keeping them just a click away and keeping the screen simple IMHO.

Given the sliding animations, widgets in folders and scripting functionalities provided by Lightning Launcher, it looks and works great too.

I don’t think making a folder make that type of screen that i am looking for…

There are many apps which i use on a regular basis.

So i have to make more than two folder for them..

Just use gestures. and have a panel with your most used apps

In Companion theme I have one “phone” button. Tap: contacts, more apps. Swipes: launch Phone, SMS, Gmail, WhatsApp. More apps in sidebar. Clean and fast to use.

That might seem ridiculous, but one way is to have a few transparent items. Of course you must recall where these hidden items are, but for extremely often used apps this is a solution to consider (and no I am not joking even if I know it sounds dumb…)

Pierre Hébert that is exactly basically what I am doing with mine lol I have a simple spot I swipe that pops up a panel with several different blank items that all watch different things with different gestures so the main home screen is completely blank almost besides a clock widget and I just hit the screen and the magic begins lol that’s just one for now, it would probably be good if I were to start running out of ideas at some point lmao

oh and never waste any more space on your home screen for widgets just put them all into folders inside bars and launch those with gestures
