Is there a way to multi-add items to a folder. I’m trying to design a new layout for my contacts and it’s a real pain adding each contact separately.

He is talking about contacts, so I guess they are shortcuts to a specific contact.
In this case it is not possible, except if the agenda app has the ability for some reason (I guess not).

even with anything else…. Jay M that’s still doing it one at a time… granted it’s faster but if it was me I’d be wanting to select multiple at the same time and then with one click just add them. that would be even faster yet. the idea would be to long press the first one and then have like a selector interface like in gallery where you then just click on all the ones you want and then click the add button. this is my feature request.

True true but in a way its still multi adding because you don’t have to keep exiting the drawer. I see what your saying though and we would all like that so I +1 your feature request :)
Edit: Its on the to do list IIRC its probably just a PITA to implement for this kinda launcher, sure it will be added some day though.

TrianguloY Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely try it. But if you have nova installed (like I do) you can still use its activities in lightning launcher. I just meant putting this option in the menu in lightning launcher.
