Hi
Hi,
I am back again with the same questions, I tried verything I could, but still did not found a way to go.
1- How can I import and use a script ? I am trying to install Pierre’s hand drawer script to make a hand drawer widget. But following the instructions dont work.
It says that” no event is defined at line 8 “.
2- How can I make a shortcut/script/widget to take instant pictures, without having to launch the camera application ?
I hope someone can help;
bye

(Next Post) Hi all! »
I’m not sure about number 1, but number 2 isn’t necessarily a LL issue. You probably need another app to do it. I know you could build something in Tasker for it, but there may be simpler solutions out there.
As far as I know, it isn’t possible to take a picture without an app
I think I red somewhere that it is possible to have a shortcut to take pictures without having to launch the camera app 1st. Maybe that shortcut launchs the camera app and instantly takes a picture. This is already better than having to launch the camera app 1st, and miss what you wanted to capture :).
About the hand drawer script, maybe someone could try to import it and make it work, to find out if I am doing something wrong, or if the script got an issue ?

Thx
I just confirmed that you CAN use Tasker to accomplish the camera trick. You create a task and assign the various presets (flash on/off/auto, resolution, focus mode, white balance, etc.) and give it an icon. You can then put a shortcut to that rask on your home screen that will take a photo immediately. I think there is a default 2 second delay to give you a chance to aim correctly, but you can override that to make it instant. The trade off is that your subject matter may not be perfectly centered because you removed that 2 second aiming window. The other trade off to a that since you have to set up the the presets ahead of time, if you have flash turned on, you won’t have a chance to turn it off before taking a picture with that shortcut. None of this affects your normal camera app, though, so you just set it up for the scenario you want and you’re all set.
Yeah I understood I can make it with tasker, but I dont use tasker.So I was looking for an easier solution widget or à shortcut creator application. Thanks for your explanation.
