In theory the To do list should be at the same place but it received no update since a while

You are really asking at the right time because i implemented most of this stuff just a few hours ago.

But since it has been asked more than a billion times, that may not be a big coincidence after all 😉

Sweet, haha I was just asking because a lad over in the Tasker Google group just said he wants to automate adding 100 widgets to his home screen, and I don’t think that’s possible but i recommended LLX because of the 100 home screens and infinite canvas and also mentioned about Tasker integration being on the to do list, and this got me curious about the status of it and if it was still planned 🙂

BTW someone posted this link and if I tap the playstore button I can download the app, If I search for the app though it can’t be found. I no you pulled it a while ago but it seems we can still download it.

Lol, I forgot to update this link as well… In fact Google Play let’s you download any app you previously installed before. You should be able to retrieve it through the Play app too in the My apps section.

    100 widgets ? I would recommend not to reach 10 !

Curtis Sylvester Jr. This guy lol

    Hi,

I have bought separate device for playing TV/radio. I would like to have on the home screen 1 widget per one channel to make the operation as fast and easy as possible. I have generated tasker configuration with tasks Video1, Video2, etc. that are starting the MX Player with proper URL and parameters. Now the problem is how to put about hundred widgets on the screen. Is there any way how to automate putting widget on the screen? I would like to have there widget, that I can set automatic for each one the logo of the channel, but in case I can only use application shortcut, I can live with that.

      Any idea welcome.

Pierre Hébert I’ll pass on your recommendation to him.

Shortcuts are better, too much widgets will lead to issues. But indeed tuning icones will be a pain.

Even worse why not just use a remote control app? There’s only one reason I see to have that many anything on 1 screen and that’s for using one android to control another

I was thinking a full screen Zooper Widget would be better he could add as many buttons as he wants to it and link them all to tasker. It will take moons setting up but its better than 100 Widgets or shortcuts. and this reminds me I wanted to ask Pierre Hébert something.

Is using 1 full screen Widget better than using multiple widgets, im thinking of remaking my home screen at the minute it has 3 Zooper Widgets but I can make the same thing using 1 full screen Zooper widget. Would that use less/more memory or wouldn’t it make a difference.

That was hard to word hope it makes sense, if not you can see my home screen in the “share your screens” section of this community should make more sense if you see my layout.

The Tasker part is great news!!

    Any news on PorterDuff?

Jay M not sure whether one widget is better than several smaller. When the Android framework sends a widget update, it may have trouble to transmit everything in a single big transaction (consequence is no more widget update), whereas many small widget may be updated separately and avoid this capacity overflow.

Jappie Toutenhoofd This will be fixed. The missing class is PorterDuffXfermode. It will be there in the next update so that it will be possible to set it this way:

    paint.setXfermode(new PorterDuffXfermode(PorterDuff.Mode.XOR));

    Pretty verbose, isn’t it ?

My dream is to be able to do most everything with gestures …. no pushing buttons or tapping icons. LLX is the only launcher that has this potential. At the moment I use vertical scrolling and swiping. Still experimenting …. love this launcher. Thank you so much Pierre Hébert

If I was to switch LLX to a system app, would it behave any different? Specifically, would I have a better chance of wallpapers “sticking”?…when I change wallpaper, the pre-installed wallpaper stays…nothing changes…please assist…I’m on a Sprint Galaxy S5 running RDTT mystery build v 1.5

zane bursey, no that won’t help. Which wallpaper are you changing? System or Desktop?

Ps… maybe next time start a new thread for a new subject. 😉

Thanx…I tried both, system and desktop…I just get either a rectangle in the center of the desktop or nothing…love the launcher…this is the only hiccup thus far

Ok try this: resize/crop the wallpaper to the size of your screen before you apply it.
