Wasn’t sure were to put this one. Its either a bug or Google’s MD colors don’t exist lol.

If I put ff1976D2 in the color picker it accepts it but if I go back into the color picker its changed to ff1876d2 if I put ff2196f3 it gets changed to ff2096f3

I’ve noticed this before. The funny thing is, zooper does it too, so I don’t think it’s just lightning launcher.
]]>
< ![CDATA[
I made the right choice by not putting it under bug report then lol.
]]>
< ![CDATA[
Haha, it still doesn’t make much sense does it?
]]>
< ![CDATA[
I stopped using Zooper for a while because I’m trying to build a setup with nothing but LL and an icon font, maybe both apps use the same color picker, I think Googles colors are to blame though.

Jay M I also plan to make a desktop only with Lightning. Can you please share screenshots or video when ready?

I already did im still working on it I’m just to lazy to do anything else with it yet, I plan to build a music widget, Lukas posted the code to play/pause etc and the dev posted how to draw with script so it should be possible to draw a simple rectangle fill it with color and wack on a few shortcuts to run scripts for play/pause etc, getting the track/artist might not be possible though but I’ll see when I decide to do it.
Here’s the video the only difference is its now blue and orange and the actionbar menu opens from the bottom instead of the top.
Edit: won’t let me link to it and I can’t find you to tag you, look in share your screens its the 8th post.

Haha, I’ve been trying to use only LLx as well! Seems to be a theme around here. I don’t even play music or watch videos on my phone. I would be happy with just weather.

Oh, and maybe an analog clock

I think someone made 1 from script, was the dev I think.

Viktor Wachter oh yeah! I had forgotten about this!

Strange, this is a funny bug, I don’t see why the color is modified 🙁 But I’ll find the reason for this behavior…
Regarding scripts and widgets, I am a bit busy at the moment but I am willing to create more sample widgets like these. If you have ideas, requirements or questions please let me know, I will try to help as much I could, either by creating new widgets, or filling holes in existing scripts.

A simple universal/customizable music widget would be great.
]]>
< ![CDATA[
universal is not simple 🙂

Jay M with tasker and media utilities you can make music control and display artist/title also.

Viktor Wachter Ino but I’m trying to stick to LLX and an icon font only. I even uninstalled Zooper and MU so I don’t get tempted to use them.
Pierre Hébert Ever thought about making a optional addon widget pack for the launcher? (optional to keep the launcher size down) with things like Google searchbar, messaging, music, calendar the usual stuff. but with LL style (extreme customization) there’s loads of widgets on Gplay but most of them aren’t customizable and it means adding a load more apps, were as if we could just install one apk and get a bunch of widgets we can easily change to match our setups that would be sweet IMO.

Pierre Hébert I would love weather dynamic text. Current and daily forecast with temp. I think Zooper gets the weather from Yahoo!, open weather map, and something called Yr.no. I’m sure there are others available as well.
