The script repository has an entry for loading the app drawer into any container, however the link to the Play Store is dead. Is this script still available?
Lukas Morawietz?
Integrated in multitool since LL v14
Oh, right. I forgot.
You should modify the repository wiki page then (the link is dead now)
Thanks, I got it and unlocked the App Drawer feature. I can’t figure how to get my apps to load into the panel that I wish. Is there some trick to it?
Do you know where the plugin section in LL is?
I have not stumbled across the plugin section. I’ll keep my eyes open.
Long press, +, right tab
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faendir.lightning_launcher.appdrawer link works for me and has no cost it seems as opposed to multitool.
Thomas Milne the link only works if you installed it before I removed it. The old script doesn’t work too well with LL v14 and does several things in unsafe ways, which now have official APIs.
It will not be supported or updated by me, but you can use it on your own risk.
Lukas Morawietz oh. Well then.
Bought the app drawer. Only the first 6 items from my application list are being populated in a panel no matter how big the panel columns and rows setting are. There seems to be nothing in the panels other pages. Just the panels home page.
Thomas Milne you did see that there is a trial to try it out, right?
Could you check if there are no icons under the others? If I can identify the problem I’ll try to eliminate it ASAP
Here is a screen grab of the other pages in panel. i.imgur.com – i.imgur.com/0TkZfVE.jpg
If you untick “keep items sorted” all the icons seem to populate but all in the same spot as seen here http://i.imgur.com/gJa6RaJ.jpg
Both panels are newly created an both are set to 7 columns and 8 rows.
I hope this helps. If you need more info I will be around but it is Christmas time so no rush on a fix.
Are you aware that the script now creates the panel itself? You might have a panel in a panel now
I was about say that and I long presses close to the stacked icon and seen the layout was 2 x 3. But I was not aware upon installation.
Well this just works perfectly. Even resizing is bloody simple.
Thomas Milne so there is no problem? Great
Lukas Morawietz Can I recall this question? I’m able to view the plugin, and select it. But although a flash msg says the script has loaded correctly, nothing happens. Should a panel be created at that stage?
I’m running the trial version.
Thanks
Damen Joe this has nothing to do with the original post. Please start a new one next time. Regardless, your problem should be fixed in 2.15.4, thanks for bringing it to my attention
