The folder grid background is stored in “Layers / background image”, that is “Habillage / image d’arrière plan”.
If you pick an icon for this setting and select a blank one, the grid will completely disappear. You can also pick a custom image: this way you can prepare an icon using an image editor and define your own grid lines and colors.

You mean the only the lines between the 4 icons?
If this is possible you would have to create a new background icon.
