I’m pretty much a novice with LL, but I moved mine from my phone to my tablet and I assume that would be the same process. On my phone, on the SD card, is a folder called LightningLauncher, and the backup and template files are in there. You can use any of several methods to move them to another device; I plugged my phone and tablet into my PC via USB and transferred them that way. You could also email them, or use any other method to copy them over. Once they’re over there, you go to LL open up LL Settings / All Settings / Manage and restore them from the “Backup, restore or export template” option. It worked for me, hopefully this helps.

Hi, thanks for your response. That’s exactly the method I tried to use. When I move the template file to my new device, it doesn’t show up in the LL Settings. I’ve tried moving the file around to no avail. I assume I have the wrong path, but have reached a standstill with it. Anyone else have suggestions?

Correct. Just put your back up and template files in the Lightning Launcher dir on your sd card, or external storage, depending on your device.

If you can’t find the path in the ‘destination’ device, just save there a backup with a unique name and search it. That will be the folder
