FINALLY I published my long awaited “Hide and Seek” Lightning Launcher Template to Google Play!
Didn’t have enough time to release it for Christmas, still just in time before New Year. As a late gift, I published in 3 editions (different default icon set styles) — and of course for free!
Designed for Nexus 4, but tested on other devices. Current desktop’s folders’ position needs adjustment, everything else seems okay so far.
“Hide and Seek” Template for Lightning Launcher (eXtreme) with matching Zooper Widgets
Available at Google Play Store:
Edition “Line”: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.echtzeitig.lltemplate.hide_and_seek_line
Edition “Holo”: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.echtzeitig.lltemplate.hide_and_seek_holo
Edition “PixelPerfect”: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.echtzeitig.lltemplate.hide_and_seek_pp

Great. Although, there is just one thing missing, I don’t have the font for the elegant clock widget.
It seems easy to miss something in the Zooper widget (I was missing the mnml weather icons in Gerd last theme.)
It would also be cool to see pictures of the differences between the 3 themes.

Emmanuel Lapierre Thanks for reporting, can confirm. TTFs are in the files, will investigate.

May I ask for the icon set you used for the panels and folder? I’d like to slightly change some folder like replace sport by something else. But I don’t know what icons you used

Emmanuel Lapierre Eldorado Stroke by IcoJam, licensed HiRes from creativemarket. So I’m not allowed to send them. Free version with all icons is available, but only 40px (I used 128px), if that helps.
What folders and icons do you have in mind? Might add them with update when fixing ZWs.

Emmanuel Lapierre Here’s the link to the free Eldorado Stroke icons: http://www.icojam.com/blog/?p=626
Eldorado Non-Stroke icons (and others from IcoJam) look awesome, too, but full version is expensive and 40px do not look good on big screens.

I was thinking of splitting media in sound/videos/books (although I was wondering wether to merge news and books) otherwise it soon gets quite crowded in this folder.
I also usually need some kind of “reference” folder. The name might not be the best, but this is where I store dictionaries, Wikipedia, educational apps, google search…
I also usually split tools and theming apps as I start to have too much of the second :).
But this is a personal take. I am gonna have a look at the icon pack link you sent. If they are nice, I wouldn’t mind paying for.

Emmanuel Lapierre Good ideas. Will add some more folders soon. No harm having them. Anyone can just remove the ones not needed or rearrange order etc. Not sure ether I can put it together today, though.
If you have specific icons in mind, just send the names (from free version, same in paid).
Found solution for ZW font bug, BTW.

Loving this template. Works great. Using it on my one x and my nexus 7.

Cory Moddelmog Thank you! Could you please send me (email or HangOut) screenshots how it looks on your devices? On my Asus 7″ tablet there are scaling issues, an planning to better support high resolution displays. Thanks in advance.

Lutz Linke dear lutz. I just set it up in my s4. I can post you pictures on how it looks.. although I am having issues with fonts in zw and also withe the eye in the sky weather widget. Also you need power toggles installed on you phone. Is that right. Thank you

The only scaling issue I had was with the allinone widget. I also made the clock larger. I’ll get you some screenshots tomorrow.

Eye in sky wouldn’t load either until I went into the widget options(I think that’s what I did). Also had the font issue. I just went and downloaded it.

Zooper Widgets: just published update to fix that issue. No need to re-apply LL-template, only edit ZWs and load new settings.
Eye in Sky: unlock desktop, long press widget and “Select another widget” to replace with Eye in Sky (or whatever). Color mid-grey (ffa0a0a0) works best BTW.
Power Toggles: only if you want them, else just remove or replace. Same for other widgets. Saved setup is just my currently used screen.

Cory Moddelmog 1.01 is already available? Wow, Google is fast! Eye is Sky: see above.

Cory Moddelmog Thanks for sending the screenshots! Looks good on your device (nexus 7 or HTC one?), nice chances.
Would you mind sending the ZW file of the AllInOne-widget so I can compare how big differences are. On my 7 inch Asus it looks much more “ripped apart”.

Lutz Linke No zooper update yet. I just downloaded the font. Screenshots are from my Nexus 7. Sent you my modified AllInOne widget.
]]>
< ![CDATA[
As for me, on my Galaxy Note 3 the only scaling issue was on the all in one widget where the Next alarm text was a bit too big and overlapping with the following text. I reduced the font size by one and moved it a bit more to the left and it was fine again.
