So I set this design on my Note 3, and I had a few issue.
Apparently the widget are getting to heavy for LLX and the background widget for the folders failed loading randomly (always 1 or 2 failing but not always the same) and LLX crashed suite a few time when changing icons or loading the app drawer
I managed to avoid this issue by removing the background widget from the folders and using instead the icons box background. (Had to resize the folder to 8*12 and expand icons to of 2*4 and 2*6 forming a cross)
But I still have an issue (that might be related to the heavy load of widget). I don’t know why, but the Zooper widget graphics do not update quickly. This is particularly bothering for the clock that only update once every five to ten minutes.

Might be linked to my issue with Zooper widgets not being properly removed.
Raah I didn’t want to uninstall Zooper and rebuild everything. That’s going to be a nightmare.
Anyway, I ‘m still quite happy with this set-up. I’ll keep you inform if I find what’s pumping all my memories preventing LLX to refresh graphics. (Might be the galaxy gear that I received at the same time I did this set up as well)

Ok. I reinstalled Zooper. Zooper works better now. Yet LLX still only refresh graphics occasionally (sometimes works fine for a few minutes, then freezes for hours). I really don’t know what to do.

Well. I’ll keep it as such for the moment. My lockscreen works fine and display the time and notifications.
And this set-up gives me quick access to all that I need. Might be solved by an update of either Zooper, LLX or android… I don’t think it is a memory/power issue with a Galaxy Note 3 with the configuration working on your Xperia Z as they are around the same specs.
Edit: I think I found the solution… And as usual, it was the easiest solution and I didn’t think of it immediately. I check the low RAM usage in LLX settings and everything seems to be working fine for the last 30 minutes…
Edit again: no, it did reduce occurrence, but it didn’t solve the issue. I’m looking to media utilities now as this widget always start working funny at the same time as display issues arise.

Ok after much trial and error, I still have the occasionnal design freeze although less frequent.
I am now looking at the tiny icon pack. It is the last thing that generate errors whenever I change it.
As soon as I try to modify an icon, the design freeze. And if I try to apply the icon pack to a folder or desktop, LLX crash.
I installed the ADW pack from the play store. wondering if I should unistall it.

i often use the extracted files from those iconpacks. to extract i use this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.redphx.themex
works mostly better
